They say your outward appearance often reflects what’s happening within, and this year I’ve been craving softness. Not just in my appearance, but in my energy, my routines, my boundaries… all of it. 2025 has been a really transformative year that's forced me to step back, strip away anything both tangible & figurative that no longer represented me, and lighten things up - more specifically, lighten up my brows, hair & tattoos.
For years I've sported bold brows, dark hair, and an overall more high-contrast look that, for a long time, worked for me! Of course I'll always have love for that version of me - we've been through some shit and she built everything I have today. But I've just grown a bit tired of such a high-contrast look, and as I've started embracing a more mindful, intentional lifestyle (meditation, breathwork, intentional boundary-setting, etc.), I realized that I wanted my reflection to be a.. well, a reflection, of how I’ve been feeling internally. Who knew that tattoo removal would be so healing for me.
