Trips, Teasers and... Lil Wayne? | Diary Entry #6

Do you remember the 21st night of September? Well personally, I don’t quite remember any day OR night of September, because this month truly flew by at breakneck speed. Is it just me, or did you have a normal, not crazy-hectic month? The past 30 days have been filled with some incredible highs despite being gone in the blink of an eye - so let’s recap, shall we?

We have to start in Miami - aka, the home of PMU World Live 2025! PMU World is always an event to remember, and this year was no exception as a time was HAD this year. This conference is one of my favorites for the way it connects so many talented, incredible humans in the PMU industry together for a weekend of continued education, new experiences & pure, unadulterated FUN. I was lucky enough to be brought on as an MC this year alongside my talented bestie gal Marie Adkins of Beauty Glam Studio in Boca Raton, FL! I’ve shared some snippets of that weekend on my socials, and definitely won’t be stopping there with the post-PMU World content (this is your reminder that I’m a great follow over on IG 😉)

I didn’t head straight home post-conference; I booked myself a little well-deserved (if I say so myself) night at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami. Short but needed; it was the mini dose of self-care I needed. Transparently I’ve been incredibly “go go go” these past few months, and while that small timeframe certainly didn’t quench the time off I’m craving, it didn’t hurt, either! A goal of mine before the end of the year is to prioritize myself, reinforce boundaries & protect my peace - and if you needed a sign to do the same in your life, let this be it ❤️‍🩹

Later in the month I grabbed a few of my girls & went to see Lil Wayne & Tyga here in Dallas - I didn’t realize how badly I needed to hear “She Will” live until then. If I could give one concrete takeaway from that show, it’s that sometimes the secret to happiness really is that simple: shaking a** at a Lil Wayne concert 🍑 Ready to run that back ASAP!!

• Reformer Pilates | I’m still firmly planted in my #pilatesprincess era, and I’ve been loving taking class namely at Niche Pilates in Knox/Henderson and Forma Pilates in Oak Lawn. Taking those 60 minutes out of your day to participate in mindful movement are truly so so so critical to preserving & bettering both your mental and physical health. Plus… my abs are ab-ing in a way that few workouts have ever done for me 🔥
