Glo2, Lip Blush Trainings & Dallas Outings | Diary Entry #5

It May or May not be that time again for a monthly newsletter! Hope everyone’s enjoying the pre-summer weather (If you’re in Dallas, manifesting the end of these crazy AF rainstorms we’ve been having.) April was such an exciting month here at The Brow Project - so let’s dive in:

In probably my biggest news - were officially launch our latest arrival, the Glo2 Facial! I have been sitting on this news for what feels like forEVER, so I’m stoked to be able to finally share this news with you all. Glo2 is an innovative oxygen facial.

This month Rufus du Sol was in Dallas, and wow oh WOW does he put on a good show. Not that I’m surprised at all. I’ve been a Rufus fan for a minute now, and seeing him this month was such a highlight. If I could dance with abandon at a RDS show every day - duh, I would. Need to run that experience back ASAP.

I’m actually writing this on the tail end of a trip to San Francisco for an exciting training, specifically focused on Korean lip blushing techniques. I had the privilege of training with true innovators in the PMU space, and I feel like I’m walking away from this with so much applicable knowledge that’s going to just elevate my practice & outcomes. I’ve said it before and I’ll forever preach this: if you want to see continued success in this space, you HAVE to be willing to always be a student. No one knows it all - and even if they do, there are so many continuous innovations in the Permanent Makeup space that if you don’t continue to learn & grow… you stagnate. Stagnating is something you will NEVER catch me doing, as I want to evolve, grow, and level up at every opportunity I can. That’s why I was so grateful I was able to fly out & train this past week, and I can confidently say the techniques I learned are next freaking level. We’re talking popsicle lips, borderless lip blushings… I’m literally getting IRL heart-eyes just thinking about starting to implement these techniques into my craft. Forever grateful this is what I get to do every single day.

In my personal life, this is a month of milestones! Not only do I turn 35 this month, but it’s my partner Ross and I’s 10-year anniversary 🥹

Grateful for not just another year, but for another year spent with those most precious to me.

• TOCOBO Bio Watery Sunscreen | Texas summers are no f*cking joke - and that means one AM application isn’t gonna cut it. I have been loving this SPF to just keep in my bag for reapplication. It’s SPF50, isn’t too thick, and plays well under makeup or over other skincare products. The best part? It doesn’t break the bank. • Neova 5 Second Daily Peel | Red carpet glow, anyone? This single step both resurfaces the skin & promotes cellular turnover. It has an AHA 5-acid blend, beta hydroxy acid, and vitamin A. Use in the PM, and wake up to glowy AF skin in the AM.

• Entropy Charm Tint Glossy Gel | Lip Gloss in a cute keychain… do I really need to go on? The formula is the perfect level of gloss and has a really impressive lasting power, while leaving the lips hydrated & nourished. The packaging is adorable, and the fact that it doubles as a cutie bag charm is just the icing on the cake.

• Breathe Meditation + Wellness Sound Baths | Same time, same day, every week. You know those things that just throw your week off if you don’t do or skip out on? When it comes to my weekly evening sound bath at Breathe - this is one of those things.
